Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2013 GMC Terrain

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain were going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi. A stand-up paddle board carrier with a two board capacity. Part number TH810. With our Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system already installed on our Terrain we're going to begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier and placing it on to our front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside of the load bar and fit it back into the foot of the carrier. We'll now tighten the gray knob to secure it in place. With our passenger side tight we'll now go to the driver's side and repeat that same tightening process. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Yukon XL well be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Roof Mounted Paddleboard Carrier part number TH810. With the factory roof rack on our Yukon, well begin our test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto our front bar. Well bring the rubber coated seal straps around the underside of the bar and hook it into the connection point. Well then turn the gray knob to tighten on the strap. Well move to the other side of the car and repeat the same process. With the front part of the carrier installed, well then repeat the same installation process for the back part of the carrier. With both pieces installed, were ready to load up our paddleboard. Well need to push out on the silver plate on the right hand side and pull out on the plate with the Thule logo to free up the strap. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2013 GMC Yukon XL

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi standup paddle board carrier, part number TH810. Our Yukon is equipped with the full factory roof rack so we're going to mount the Thule SUP Taxi directly to the factory cross bars. We'll feed the straps around the cross bar and back into the head. Then we can use the hand knobs to tighten down the strap. Next we'll take the second half of the carrier and place it on top of the rear cross bar. We do want to make sure that the second half winds up nicely with the first half so that we can carry our paddle board at a nice straight line. more

Well bring the rubber coated straps around the crossbar fitting them back into the foot and using the hand knob to tighten it down. Well do this for both sides of the carrier. Now well grab the second half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. Well bring the rubber coated straps around fitting them back into the foot, and then using the hand knobs to tighten them down. more

Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier Review- 2011 GMC Sierra

Today on our on our 2011 GMC Sierra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Hull-A-Port J style rooftop kayak carrier, part number TH834. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front part of the kayak rack onto the roof of our truck. So after placing it on our front load bar, we'll bring the bracket around the underside of the front load bar, and hook it into the bolts extending down from the rack. We'll then tighten down the two wing nuts to bring the bracket up around the bottom part of the load bar. We'll now place the rear part of the carrier onto the rear load bar and again swing the bracket around the underside of the load bar and hook it into the bolt extending downward. We'll again tighten down the two wing nuts to secure the rack to the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Stand-Up Paddleboard Taxi, part number TH810. Now, our SUP Taxi is already pre-assembled, so we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll start with the front carrier, securing it on the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber coated straps around underneath the crossbar, reattaching them to the carrier where we can tighten down the gray wing nut on the either side. We'll then move to the rear crossbar. We'll again set the rear carrier on top of the crossbar, bring the rubber coated straps underneath, reattaching them to the carrier and tightening them down. more
